This application serves as a straightforward solution for displaying web pages or PDFs based on a centrally managed URL. It requires a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution such as Jamf Pro or Jamf School for enabling managed app configuration.

Use Cases:

• Simple Kiosk: Locks the device to display a specific web page.
• Secure Kiosk: Incorporates a timer to return to the homepage and clears cached user data.
• Interactive Kiosk: Allows users to enter a URL.
• Surveys/Forms: Presents a web-based survey form while locking the device during completion and automatically unlocking after submission.
• Maintenance: Displays a curtained view while the device undergoes maintenance.

Features:

• Managed App Configuration to define the URL through a central management console.
• Support for Autonomous Single App Mode (ASAM), giving users the ability to enable or disable this mode within the application.
• A built-in maintenance mode with an embedded image, enabled via Managed App Configuration.
• An optional navigation bar for user interaction, also enabled through Managed App Configuration.
• A timer function that resets the app to a predefined URL.
• The option to delete cached user data when returning to the homepage or during timer reset.
• A feature that allows for automatic turning off of app lock (ASAM) when a specific string is found in the URL, used in conjunction with REMOTE_LOCK set to ON.
